Any ordinary printer paper works. The sheets are sized for US Letter; on A4, turn on "fit to page" in your print dialog and it scales down slightly to fit.
Each sheet breaks the character into its components and colors them by writing position: the first component is red, the second yellow, the third green, and so on. The colors show you the structure and the order at a glance. You do not write in colors; practice with an ordinary pen or pencil.
Start with the colored breakdown at the top and name the components in order. The grid then walks you through the character in stages: first the strokes are added one by one, then you trace the full character in colored dashes, then in gray, and the gray gradually fades until you are writing from memory in the empty cells.
Yes. The position colors show the component order, and the progression inside the cells walks you through the strokes.
A 300 dpi PNG prints identically to a PDF, and one file per character keeps things simple: tap, save, print.
Yes, the sets come out in themed waves (family, time, food). New sheets appear on this page and on our Pinterest.
These are static sheets you print and fill in by hand. The app adds real-time feedback: it reads your actual freehand handwriting as you write and tells you if a stroke or a component is off, which paper cannot do.
