HanziDragon is made by a small independent studio focused on handwriting-based language learning.
Our first app, Robokana, teaches Japanese kana and kanji and has been on the App Store since 2017. HanziDragon brings the same method to Chinese characters: color-coded, component-by-component decomposition, paired with recognition of real freehand handwriting rather than strokes snapped to fixed positions.
Handwriting recognition and AI feedback run entirely on-device, on our own models. Nothing you write leaves your device on its own.
